The right diagnosis matters because resealing a dirty, etched, or improperly finished surface can lock in the problem rather than solve it.
Natural stone is a major investment, whether it is a marble foyer, a travertine floor, or granite kitchen countertops. Sealer is designed to reduce absorption and make routine cleanup easier. What a Stone Sealer Is Supposed to Do
Most residential stone surfaces are protected with a penetrating sealer.
